What's the deal?
Rain or shine this Saturday October 31st at 8am we will begin the 2009 Combine it is a two day event. Day one (Saturday) is all about drills and exercises designed to showcase your strengths and reveal your weaknesses. As the day progresses we will be building teams to enter in the Chi-Town Series the next day. If you are already on a team scheduled to compete, stick with your plan we'll be watching and grading you. If you're not on a team we will be placing you according to your ranking and skill level.

This is the real deal we have spoken to the captains of several midwest teams and many are planning on attending to see if there are players they can add.

Ok before everyone gets to wound up here...

First we blew it last year, we were understaffed and unprepared. The venue that we attempted to lock-in became unreasonable and our 2nd choice was unresponsive. As a last resort we went the reball route and that wasn't to great either. So here you go... we're sorry, not a little, a lot. In order to show you we mean it, and want you back this year we're going to:

#1 Waive your entry fee if you participated last year.

#2 The combine will be run in cunjunction with this seasons final Chi-Town Series so instead of the normal 5v5 drills we do on the second day this year you will compete in an actual tournament. We will be reserving enough spots to enable us to build teams and watch/grade you. If you're already commited to a team we will still come and watch your games so we can asses your skills. (The cost is included in your combine entry.)

#3 With the world cup being so early we can lock this in at the Badlandz, outside like it should be.

#4 More staff on hand along with the ability to upload your information onto the website on the spot, no more waiting like prior years. (Of course some of the information cannot be handled like that, so you will still need to wait on a few things.)

This year promises to be not only the return of the MW Combine but the best combine yet.
